One passenger permitted in ALL classes.

Vehicles with passenger must have 4-point cage, passenger seat, helmet, seat belt and something to hold on to.

  WHAT IS DERBY BALL?

Basically, soccer with cars instead of people and a 5-ft. tall steel soccer ball.

HOW DO YOU PLAY?

· Each team will have TWO cars. Any car, mini-van or mid-size truck/SUV permitted. No full-size trucks or SUVs (1500 and greater). Must remove all glass window, except the windshield. This can be a demolition derby car or beater off the street. No sharp points. No special cupped/contoured or shaped bumpers. 

  · May have multiple cars for team, but only two may enter the arena at a time (you can have a back-up car).

· Team vs Team matches in a single or double elimination tournament (depending on # of entries).

· The arena will be lined with concrete blocks with an opening/goal on each end.

· Objective: get the big steel soccer ball through the goal. 

· Each match will have two teams and will last 10-minutes. The winning team of each match will receive $50.

  · If ball becomes stuck against the wall or corner, game will be paused and ball reset.

· No “unnecessary roughness”. You may bump, spin and push the other cars but no aggressive or intentional hits. Unnecessary roughness = Time Penalty.

· Derby Ball Champions will receive $500 and trophies. 2nd Place will receive $250 and trophies.
